Who we are
This giveaway platform is operated by Straw Hat Cards. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at luffi@strawhat.cards.
What data we collect
When you enter a giveaway, we collect your Instagram handle only. We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any other personal information.
We also store a small entry record in your browser's local storage so we can show you that you've already entered. This is not a cookie and does not leave your device.
Why we collect it
Your Instagram handle is used solely to administer the giveaway — to prevent duplicate entries and to contact the winner. The lawful basis for this processing is legitimate interests (running a fair competition).
Who we share it with
We do not sell, share, or transfer your Instagram handle to any third party. It is only accessible to Straw Hat Cards staff administering the giveaway.
How long we keep it
Entries are retained for 90 days after a giveaway closes, after which they are permanently deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at luffi@strawhat.cards with your Instagram handle and we will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
