Shipping Information

Origin of shipment

All prizes are dispatched directly from the United Kingdom. Please bear this in mind when entering a giveaway, as delivery timescales and any applicable customs requirements will vary depending on your location.

Shipping method

Winners do not have the ability to select a preferred shipping method or carrier. Straw Hat Cards will determine the most appropriate shipping option based on the nature of the prize, the winner's location, and available services at the time of dispatch.

Changes to shipping arrangements

In the event that a change to the agreed shipping arrangement is necessary — for example, due to carrier availability, prize size, or destination restrictions — Straw Hat Cards will contact the winner directly via Instagram Direct Message to discuss an alternative solution before proceeding.

Tracking

Tracking information is not always available for prize shipments. Where a tracking number is provided by the carrier, we will share it with the winner via Instagram Direct Message. However, we cannot guarantee tracking will be available for every delivery.

Where a shipping discussion has taken place and an additional cost is involved, that cost is the sole responsibility of the winner. Both parties must have agreed to the arrangement before any payment is made. If an agreement cannot be reached, the prize will be considered forfeited and may be rolled over to an alternative winner.

Customs & import duties

For winners outside the United Kingdom, prizes may be subject to customs inspection, import duties, or local taxes upon arrival. These charges are the sole responsibility of the winner and are not covered by Straw Hat Cards. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before entering an international giveaway.

Country restrictions

Certain countries are unavailable for entry due to complications with international export regulations. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Where a giveaway is restricted to specific regions or countries, this will be clearly indicated on the giveaway card.

Delivery address & contact details

A valid delivery address for the destination country must always be provided when claiming a prize. For certain countries — such as the United States — carriers may also require a telephone number and email address to facilitate customs clearance and final delivery. Winners will be asked to provide any necessary details via Instagram Direct Message before dispatch.
